Production Worker (Must be 18 years of age or older): Ditmars Orchard & Vineyard makes high-quality baked goods, so we like to hire skilled bakers. This could include making cookie dough, pie fillings, pie crusts, and baking pies, cookies, and other desserts. Since we like to have these items as fresh as possible, we also have bakers that work early morning shifts. This position requires you to be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work Tuesday-Friday some weekends, wear close-toed shoes, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment, and food location. Must know basic food safety information. Must be able to stand on a concrete floor for periods of time. Anti-fatigue mats are provided.
Donut Maker: (Must be 18 years of age or older): This position is responsible for making our high-quality Apple Cider & Pumpkin Pie Donuts. This position may require early mornings and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will prepare dough per the recipe, prepare the area to make donuts, fry donuts, dress them, and clean the area at the end of your shift.
