About the Role
This is a high-volume, fast-paced area most guests will visit. We look for individuals who are comfortable dealing with the public and able to practice responsible register/cash management. High level of customer service is essential. Having a keen eye for creative displays and stocking shelves is a plus.
COUNTRY STORE JOBS OVERVIEWS
Cashier: This position is highly customer-facing and requires excellent customer-service skills. This position will ring up guest purchases using an POS system, and practice safe money handling. It is imperative to capture all items from the guest and enter each item. You will be using an POS cashier system, scale, credit card processing machine, and a receipt printer. While the purchase is being completed you will also bag the order up. Guests may have questions or complaints you will be expected to answer or escalate to a Team Lead or the Supervisor. You will be standing much of the time; anti-fatigue mats will be provided. Secondary duties include keeping the register area clean and sanitized, stocking merchandise, cleaning shelves, and reporting to work on-time.
Requirements
Must be 18 or older
Must be able to stand/stoop/bend for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 50 + lbs
