About the Event
The Martin Ave Project is a three-piece group made up of seasoned Omaha music veterans, delivering an eclectic mix of songs played with their own unique style. Featuring double (standup) bass, guitar, and drums, their sound is engaging and dynamic without overpowering the room — perfect for relaxed listening and easy conversation.
The band brings deep roots and experience to every performance. Tim, the guitarist, and the bassist competed in the 2024 Nebraska Blues Challenge, earning runner-up honors, while Gayland, the drummer, comes from a long line of blues, R&B, and jazz musicians with deep ties to Omaha’s historic North 24th Street music scene.
Solid, soulful, and thoughtfully curated, The Martin Ave Project offers music that enhances the atmosphere and keeps audiences comfortably engaged.
